might be a bit of a weird ask, but basically what i'm looking for is books that permit you to learn "passively" by looking up the references/allusions/details/etc. in them. i'm familiar with a decent amount of them but any further suggestions are welcome
ones i am aware of:
– Ulysses and Finnegans Wake by James Joyce
– Gravity's Rainbow (and probably other books) by Thomas Pynchon
– 2666 by Roberto Bolaño
– Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace
– Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy (kinda)
– House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski (kinda)
– Neal Stephenson books
feel free to suggest more!
