I want to buy my friend a book for her birthday, she has been asking for us to read a book together and I don’t read much fiction. So…help a girl out please. These are a few books/authors that I know she likes:
– Mindhunter (She recommended to me)
– A Silent Patient (also a recommendation)
– The Girl on the Train (she loves this one)
– The Housemaid (basically anything by Freida McFadden)
– Behind Closed Doors
– Also basically anything by Colleen Hoover
I don’t know who/what else, these are purely from memory of what books she has in her house.
I like to read non-fiction books, discussing topics like true crime, social science, feminism…that kind of vibe.
We also both like learning about Ancient Egypt/Mythology if that sparks any ideas? Preferably a book written by a woman too. Any suggestions for books she likely hasn’t heard of/read? 🙂
