    Hello!

First time post. I recently read The Bell Jar about three months and loved it. I then finished How Europe Underdeveloped Africa by Walter Rodney a few days ago. I found it very interesting and informative although dry at some points. I love reading about history, psychology, feminism, and gothic literature. I really like Bell Hooks too.

A little about me as a person. I grew up not so affluently. I had a rough childhood. I am a college student who is a senior. I am studying Korean, Geography, and Statistics. I have an interest in South East Asia. I love the cultures of South Korea, China, and Japan especially. I studied abroad in South Korea and visited Japan. I haven't looked that much into areas like Vietnam and the Phillipines though! I like skateboarding and bouldering. I like fashion, Shinkansen trains, playing guitar, movies, and video games too. Also, I'm LGTB and recently realized that I'm transgender. I started E a few months ago.

I would like to read something about European medieval history that isn't focused on history of the British Isles. Maybe France. I love books that make me self-question my pre-concieved thoughts and notions. Stuff that is very thought-provoking. I am open to reading stuff outside of the history genre too!

    I'm thinking about reading either

    1. I Deliver Parcels in Beijing by Hu AnYan

    2. All About Love by Bell Hooks

    3. Color of Law by Rochard Rothstein

    4. The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde

Please give me any recommendations. Thank you!
