so basically i asked for modern classics and i got the following:
Grapes of Wrath – Steinbeck
The Great Gatsby – Fitzgerald
Life on the Mississippi River- Twain
Gone with the Wind – Mitchell
Lord of the Flies – Golding
i also was lended “can i say” by travis barker, as a die hard blink fan and i got hooked by the prologue, i wanna start can i say, but im not sure..im also kinda of very stupid, i struggle with books that dont have a lifelike concept

Start with the memoir first for sure then Lord of the Flies or The Great Gatsby. If you’re having any trouble getting into any of the books, I recommend watching a YouTube review/explainer or reading the Wikipedia page up to the part where you are. That’ll help keep characters and plot points straight as you’re reading.
