hello! so i got very interested in books from the nineteenth century (and the odd few from the twentieth) and philosophical treatises lately, and now i have about 30 on my TBR. my problem: my reading stamina can't process deep things back to back to back.
i would like some fictions and "easy" reads in between, the kind published in the last 40 years, that are still meaningful. i just read "the help," and now am reading "babel, or the necessity of violence" and am absolutely loving it! i like how its easy enough to follow (i dont spend 70 pages acclimating and 5 minutes per page processing and annotating), and would like more of these to read in between!
any recs would be heavily appreciated 🙂
