Hi everyone!
I'm searching for book recommendations where the main focus is on a deep, meaningful mentor-student relationship. No romance at all — only platonic connection, either found family or actual family ties.
Bonus points if one of the characters (especially the student) is autistic-coded, but it's not a strict requirement.
The most important thing: the mentor MUST NOT die. I really don't want to read another story where the mentor gets killed off.
Any genre is fine (fantasy, sci-fi, historical, contemporary, etc.), as long as the heart of the story is that mentor-student dynamic.
