Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a book recommendation for someone who overthinks a lot, lacks confidence, and struggles emotionally, mentally, and even physically because of it. I deal with brain fog, have trouble making decisions, and find it really hard to stick to them once I do.
Also I’ve never completely read a book. Ever.
I’m not necessarily looking for something overly preachy or full of toxic positivity. Something honest, grounding, practical, or even just comforting would really help.
If a book genuinely helped you with similar issues, I’d really appreciate the suggestion. Thank you.

Reading this felt like I wrote it lol. I will share what kind of books I have enjoyed reading. Sometimes, I enjoy reading lighthearted, sweet and cute books or even thriller/mystery can be hard to put down. They keep me hooked to them because of how much fun they are to read. Otherwise, there is one book I have ever read that has helped me with overthinking. It is a fictional book: The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. I love this book so much!!! Let me know if you need recommendations for lighthearted books. I have tons of recommendations for them.
Have you ever tried an audiobook? Maybe you need to try a different format?
