Looking for a fantasy book

I'm looking for a book with a female MC with good depth in a fantasy setting. While I do like romantasy, I want something with a stronger set up and better established magically. I would also love to see solid world conflicts that doesn't feel like an after thought to the romance plot line. I love something with political and social intrigue. If anyone knows anything that would be amazing.
