I am a bisexual trans man looking for books about people like me by people like me. ive only ever found books like that that had heavy smut, though, and it simply isnt what I want in a book. one or two scenes is fine, but i get tired. I dont like books about mlm relationships written by women generally, simply because it feels a bit fetishy. thanks in advance!!

Anything by Erik J Brown is good! Particularly All That’s Left in the World by him is fab.

      It’s zero smut ☺️

    2. Don’t Let the Forest In by C.G. Drews – their romance is heartwarming, but the book itself contains botanical horror, so it might not be exactly what you’re looking for

    3. Aristotle and Dante Discover The Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz!

I read this for an LGBTQ+ book club I was part of and was really just a sweet story that tugged at my heart strings. Hope you enjoy!

    4. I read A Gentleman’s Gentleman by Alexis Hall recently and found it really sweet.

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune is a classic queer read. (Skip the sequel, though.)

Running Close to the Wind by Alexandra Rowland is mlnb and leans more toward humor than pure fluff but I had a great time with it. It’s definitely got a happy ending. This one might be hit or miss depending on your sense of humor.

“a taste of gold and iron” maybe? not sure it fills all the fluffy aspects but may be worth a try, especially as i do adore the relationship that forms. like i would call the relationship itself fluffy (by the end) but the plot itself does focus on kinda political intrigue. the author is Alexandra Rowland but they are nonbinary and very queer (i feel like their work has sometimes been dismissed due to their name which isn’t very fair). there is representation for other gender identities too, like a pretty big nonbinary supporting character

”winter’s orbit” by everina maxwell (again nonbinary). another situation of “fluffy relationship but political intrigue plot” (sorry, i’m just not a fan of straight fluff romances). there are some trigger warnings i would look up for this one (really just discussing an abusive past relationship). it’s sci-fi if that bothers you and the author did come from a fanfic background, but i still enjoyed the writing
