My only experience with the supposedly wonderful ‘mystery genre’ is with corny Dan Brown thrillers and The Mysterious Benedict society, a children’s mystery series I read in the 6th grade. I always hated stories with a mystery, but the answer is impossible to solve on your own. Any good mysteries are fine, but nothing made to make people feel like detectives when they’re practically given the answer. Although it’s not a necessity, any mystery books about non-violent crimes would also be interesting. Art theft is especially intriguing to me. Thank you in advance mystery enjoyers, Watson and I are excited (I don’t actually know a Watson I just wanted to end this with something fun)
