Hello all,
Looking for recommendations for non-fiction or fictionalised books about the 1960s folk music scene in New York. Inside Llewyn Davis, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan era. Failing this, other books about musicians' lives which are about (nf) or based on real people (fiction).
I have read and enjoyed Daisy and the Six, and a lot of commenters mention its similarity to Fleetwood Mac. What I am looking for is even more of a 'behind the scenes' look at the interpersonal lives/relationship drama of musicians.
Thanks for your help!

Dylan Goes Electric by Elijah Wald is the book A Complete Unknown was based on but is actually a far more comprehensive account of the scene he found and his impact on it than the film would suggest
Chronicles by Bob Dylan is one of the best firsthand accounts. Also A Freewheelin’ Time by Suze Rotolo (his then-girlfriend).
Positively 4th Street by David Hajdu
