I’m drawn towards books that contain books within them– AS Byatt’s *Possession* is of course the classic, but over the years, I’ve read several of these sorts of books, though at the moment only Wilton Barnhardt’s *Gospel* comes to mind. I suppose The *Neverending story* also fits.
Languages: English, French, German.
I’m not too picky about genres.

Seanan McGuire’s Alchemical Journeys, beginning with *Middlegame*, in which a woman by the name of Asphodel D. Baker hid the secrets of alchemy in a set of children’s books called the Up-and-Under series. Notable in that McGuire has also published the Up-and-Under series, beginning with *Over the Woodward Wall*, under the pen name A. Deborah Baker.
