this is a VERY broad prompt and I know that, but I'll read just about anything.
I really really love when a book references other books that only exist in the universe of the fiction, like "Dune" referencing manuals about Muad'Dib, or "Blood Song" referencing books written about the orders that the main character interacts with. it's one of my favorite informational bits of worldbuilding and I think it's really interesting how there are often different writing styles used to add depth.

Most of Borges’ stories are about books that don’t exist in real life.
You should read the story “The Book of Sand.” If you like it there’s a lot more where that came from.
HP Lovecraft included The Necronomicon across so many of his stories!
