Hey yall I'm dealing with a lot of trauma and internal strife. Im starting to work out some things but was wondering if yall know some good self-help books on forgiveness and forgiving yourself.
Hopefully setting more robust than "Here's why you should forgive" or "my life became so much better for forgiving". I'm looking for more actionable steps and exercises to do the work.

There’s one by Desmond Tutu and his daughter. Very good. It has been a few years since I read it, I think it is called Forgiveness.
I guess this might be too specific but worth a shot. The book that helped me forgive myself the most was Triggers by David Richo. It’s a lot about how anger is a cover for fear, and most people who act angry are just trying to protect themselves, not intentionally or systematically setting out to hurt others—while also not shying away from hurting others being a consequence
