I’ve been reading darker books and I want to switch things up, I want something light-hearted and wholesome. Spice isn’t something I mind much but I’d prefer if those kinds of scenes weren’t too long and are written towards the end of the book. Any Light Novel recommendations are also welcome.

I’m a bit of a fussy reader but I do love a good rom com! Some I’ve enjoyed recently are Beach Read (warm and fuzzy without being too cheesy or overly spicy), The Flatshare (wholesome, kind of a slow burn), and Attachments (a little quirky in a really charming way).
Annabel Monaghan books are well-written! Try any of them! 🙂
The Witch Is Back by Sophie H. Morgan
People We Meet On Vacation by Emily Henry
10 Things That Never Happened by Alexis Hall is fade to black for spice.
Pride and prejudice
I love Emily Henry and Abbey Jimenez (particularly Book Lovers and Yours Truly) but really I’ve read and loved all their books
If you don’t mind a fantasy setting, I found *The Herbalist’s Apprentice* by Mabel Maplewood right here on Reddit via the r/iwroteabook sub. Sweet, cozy, magical mystery and romance. Delightful.
