I haven't read anything outside of academic material since I was 16. I just turned 21, and am probably going through another identity crisis (especially since I'm about to graduate). I recently saw a analysis post about War and Peace, and it piqued my interest. I really like philosophy, politics, and romance; even more so when there isn't a traditional "hero". I'm probably describing 1000+ books, LOL.
I do understand that "classics" is too vague and NOT a genre, but what other books do you recommend? Is War and Peace a good place to start?
