Every time the protagonist dies they awake in a different world/reality

Or something like that.

I've seen instances where there is one other world the protagonist travels to where they might stay for the remainder of the book, or they travel between two worlds, but I'm looking for something with a little more variety.

It's a concept I've more seen done in visual mediums–Adult Swim's "The Elephant" inspired the post, and Rick and Morty has visited the well more than once, but Mr. Fox by Helen Oyeyemi had an idea similar to this and I'd love to find more.
