Really At A Loss – Book Suggestions for ND Teen Boy

My youngest, like everyone else in the family, is neurodivergent (AuDHD). But as with all of us, he's his own unique individual. I prefer to read books by writers like Ilona Andrews, Kean Koontz, Clive Cussler, George R R Martin, Robin Hobb. My husband prefers non-fiction and history, my middle kiddo likes historical fiction, my eldest enjoys fantasy and sci-fi.

My youngest doesn't seem to enjoy anything that interests the rest of us, hence the difficulty figuring out books that will engage him. He likes to read, but beyond Disney/Pixar and Dreamworks stories (adaptations of the movies eg Cars, Planes, Monsters Inc, Minions, Thomas & Friends) he hasn't really given too many other books a shot. He's been reading since he was two, has a huge vocab and excellent reading comprehension but he sticks to the "Junior novelization" versions of these stories. I'm sure they're "comfort reads" and he reads for calm and relaxation. But I'd love some suggestions if you, your child or a relative has been in a similar situation.
