Hi hi! 🙂 I'm looking for books published in the last five years, no indie, with F/M romance (preferably slow-burn, definitely no insta-lust, nor any smut). A bonus if the prose is what someone would call "beautiful", if it contains any elements of angels, fallen angels, or Nephilim, or if it's more dark fantasy than the light-hearted "fae fantasy".

A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik is Hogwarts as a horror setting with a romance subplot that grows into more plot plot in the next two books.
It’s light on the romance because it’s YA but dystopian for sure. Scythe by Neal Shusterman
