    Hi everyone.

This is going to sound silly, but it lowkey feels like a very real issue at the moment haha. Anyways, is the part 2 about logotherapy a major section of the book’s central idea or is it more of an additive?

I’ve been reading the book to my father and we just finished Part I, which is the examination of different stages in a prisoner’s experience. Absolutely amazing and insightful.

While I am still really interested in reading the Part 2 explanation of Logotherapy for the clinical aspects (neuroscience major here haha), I think my dad is starting to get less invested. It’s mostly just frankl’s terminology and theoretical expansions, so it’s all very clinical and less anecdotal. I think it doesn’t help that he’s just hearing it and not seeing the words on the page either, so the writing sorta just jumbles up and runs on (like even when I’m reading it out loud, I too have to pause sometimes).

Is this section something I should continue reading with my dad so he gets the full experience of the memoir’s ideas or should I just read the rest on my own?

    Thanks !
