I found a lot of comfort in Crying in H Mart after my father passed.

I’m so sorry for your loss; take care of yourself ❤️

    2. I’m so sorry about the passing of your mom. When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chodron helped me when I was grieving a loss.

I’ve read Kitchen and Moonlight Shadow by Banana Yoshimoto and The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce. Two of them aren’t directly related to parental loss, but I still found it helpful in putting how I felt into words (I also lost my mum a year ago)

I’ve just given my friend a copy of Promise Me Sunshine after losing her mum. I’m sorry for your loss 🫶🏻

I’m sorry for your loss, I’ve been navigating the death of my grandmother, these are a few titles that have been helpful.

      Bittersweet by Susan Cain

      Memento Mori by Joanna Ebenstein

Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl

I’m so sorry for your loss, hope you’re well.
Grief is the Thing with Feathers by Max Porter is marvelous if you’re in the mood for fiction.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It may be too early, but I recommend Nora McInerny if/when you’re in the mood for some humour around grief. She lost her husband, father, and second pregnancy around the same time and has written a few books on grief in the years since.

    8. Michael Rosen’s Sad Book. It is a short book illustrated by Quentin Blake. Essentially a kids book about grief but it helped me understand grief better than any adult books on the subject.
