Recommendation for someone who isn’t a reader. I’m thinking a thriller/mystery?

So my husband wants to get into reading books. I really want him to love it as I am a big reader myself. I think he would enjoy mystery/thriller (not my genre of preference). Something that will keep his interest and blow his mind. Please hit me up with your suggestions!
