now before you say "who hurt you"… this is mostly because i'm writing a story with this as a potential plot point and i like reading well done executions of ideas to get in the mood.
basically the idea of someone seemingly having good friends, not necessarily toxic or villainous people, but them not being there when the protag needs them when they seemed "like they would do anything" for the mc. or if that's too specific, i'd just take any that are subversions of the found family trope.
can be any genre, any setting, i like anything from drama to horror to detective stuff to scifi, etc, but if it's well done i'll read anything.
