I've been going through a real dry spell with reading or being able to finish books, not able to focus on intricate plotlines or complex worldbuilding. I need something that i'm emotionally motivated to get through like romance / spicy (I'm single lol), but i couldn't settle into ACOTAR as I think my mind isn't great at focusing on fantasy worlds atm.
The last books i couldn't put down:
-Twisted love Ana huang – definitely not amazingly written but exciting plotline. I've ordered a 2nd one in the series. i have not read any other romance books so i can't compare but i like stuff that is well written, not a cliche trope, convincing passion
-Secret History donna tart – a bit different but her writing is amazing
What else would you recommend that really captivated you and left you thinking WOW?
