Are the characters in Becky Chambers other books as beautifully developed as Monk and Robot? I can't describe it, I guess IKYKY… But like I think my entire life I have been focused on genre in the library category sense when really my "genre" is characters that make me feel wrapped in a hug. I really don't care much about what they are doing, it is their interactions that make it for me. Monk and Robot hit the spot so perfectly. I also adored the Murderbot series. Before those, I had never read any sci-fi and would not have called it my genre at all.
What do I read next? Will I adore Becky Chambers other books as much? What about Martha Wells other books?
