Hey all,
One of my resolutiona this year is to read more books hopefully one or more a month. See I'm a fresh college student and the only reading I've done is for school, I don't like that I want to read more
Would y'all be able to drop some suggestions on what are some cool things I could read preferably not over like 300ish pages long but if it's good IDC.
I like historical stuff. Drama, comedy, horror in book form sounds interesting I've never read a scary book.
Also it gets bonus points of characters are gay/LGBT
Please lemme know of any suggestions you may have thank y'all
on mobile sorry for formatting yadayada

I have a hard time finishing books, sometimes just stop 3/4 of the way through. But Dry Guillotine was a book i could not put down and despite its length, breezed through, its no fat or filler, and it is all true, which is just insane.
If you like Historical Stuff, Try *The Wager* by David Grann. It’s non-fiction but it is written like an adventure book. For Horror, Stephen Graham Jones is my current favorite and he has a broad range of styles and settings as well as Novellas and Novels.
You might enjoy the two Monk and Robot books by Becky Chambers: *Psalm for the Wild Built* and *Prayer for the Crown Shy*.
If you haven’t read the stranger it’s great. Honestly what’s helped me get more into reading more recently is just starting with well liked classics; they’re classics for a reason 🙂
