Hello, I really want to read a book with a similar plot: a story that involves a cult, where the main character is the primary victim. He is an orphan and so deeply traumatized that it is very difficult for him to communicate with other people. At some point, however, he finds a way out or a sense of safety through another character.
I would strongly prefer the main character to be a teenage boy.
I really want to read something like this, but I’m not sure such books actually exist. It would be great if the ending were tragic.
