I have a 7m old and struggle with postpartum depression. I am on meds and in therapy and doing all the things lol but winter in Michigan is hitting me hard. I‘m a former English teacher and have always loved reading, but it feels even more important in this season.
Anyway, I am in need of your best lighthearted recs! I read across a lot of genres, but my favorite are romance and nonfiction (particularly nature and biography). Thanks in advance!

I find Elin Hilderbrand books (the Nantucket ones) are light-hearted yet gripping.
same with Emily Giffin’s books- my favorites are Something Blue, Meant to Be, and Lies That Bind.
