I (26F) am looking for suggestions that lack romance or have very little romance. I'm a very big fan of Horror, but open to other genres such as Fantasy/Scifi/General Fiction.
I enjoy books that are gothic, atmospheric, dark, tense, and mysterious. Anything with themes of the occult, witches, cults, supernatural, or paranormal I will probably eat up.
Here's a list of books and manga/graphic novels I read and really loved:
• Alice in Borderland by Haro Aso
• The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice
• The Green Bone Saga by Fonda Lee
• The Honeys by Ryan La Sala
• Sign Here by Claudia Lux
• House of Hunger by Alexis Henderson
