My daughter is having her second son.
For the first, I got her 'The Little Prince' because it's one of the most beautifully tragic books I've ever read, with so many lessons for life.
Is there anything that comes close to this that I can get her for the next child?

If you want something of a similar age range to The Little Prince as a gift for a newborn and for it to be a sort of prized possession that he will grow into, I would suggest maybe a beautiful copy of E.B. White’s The Trumpet of the Swan or maybe Kate DiCamillo’s The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. Both have lovely pictures as well.
