Title. I read Drive Your Plow Through The Bones Of The Dead a couple years ago and it was the perfect january read for me. European, buried in snow and some light mystery that also sprinkles in some existentialism. Its the perfect mix for me but ive had a hard time finding something that fills that gap. Any recs are welcome, thank you.

It doesn’t have the mystery, but if atmospheric is what you’re after, you could try Snow Country by Yasunari Kawabata
Have you read Frankenstein or We Have Always Lived in the Castle? I read Drive Your Plow, Frankenstein, and We Have Always Lived in the Castle (Jackson) all around Halloween this year and loved all three. They paired really well together.
You might enjoy Rebecca as well by du Maurier – not snowy per se but I think you’d like the vibe.
You might also try Eileen by Ottessa Moshfegh
