idc abt the sub-genre much as long as its something you personally would rate 9/10 – 10/10

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo hits literally every single one of those boxes and you’ll both be obsessed – trust me on this one
I recommend reading a bunch of short stories by a bunch of different authors. It’s a quick way to sample a good variety of writing styles. Story Sanctum has a good assortment of short stories to choose from. You’re bound to find something you like there.
