Hello all! I've recently gotten really into reading with the help of a Kindle. I was somewhat of a reader growing up but never went for the Harry Potter series for whatever reason. I have seen all the movies and love them so I know the basic plot and twists; that being said, is it still worth it to pick up the series and give it a try as a 30 year old? Thanks in advance 🧙🏼♀️

Absolutely worth it! The books have way more depth and character development than the movies could fit in – you’ll discover tons of stuff that got cut out. Plus reading them as an adult hits different than being a kid, you pick up on themes and details you’d miss otherwise
I’d recommend getting them secondhand as JK Rowling is a garbage person and doesn’t deserve the royalties.
Yes. Books are (almost) always better than the movies. But you should also read them because they are now classics. Just keep in mind they did start out as kids books.
