I’m looking for book recs to get me out of a slump

As the title says I feel like every book I read lately is just ok or very average. I’m not usually very generous with my 5 star ratings but I just want a book I’ll genuinely enjoy to inspire my new year reading goals.

some of my favorite books in no particular order:

• empyrean series • the invisible life of Addie larue • the giver • a man called ovo • atmosphere • the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo • the seven year slip • the wolf hotel: complete series • the women

these are books I’ve read Within the past couple years and I think most accurately reflect my interests/tastes.
