Hey guys, its 2026 and one of my personal goals for this year is to read more books. Romance is my primary favorite book genre, but I'm looking for more stories with queer characters in realistic fictional circumstances. I originally tried googling the type of romantic genre. I'm looking for, but I had no luck, and I'm wondering if I could come here and see what other things people have read. These three genres are something I'm looking for:
1.) FMC who's best friends with a MMC and a FMC and is conflicted between loving one or the other
2.) Lesbian vampire books with a Black and/or POC MC
3.) Non-binary/transgender MC in love with another non-binary/trans MC, preferably realistic fiction
If someone could give me any great recommendations, that would be great! I also thoroughly enjoy plots with enemies to lovers, best friends to lovers, strangers to lovers, FWB, smut/erotica, and as stated above, queer characters. I'm also cool with consensual age gaps!

*Deadly Kiss* by Remi Lebeau is a sapphic romance with a black MC, but this is not exactly a realistic setting, it’s in the near future when vampires rule the country, the white MC is a vampire princess.
Somewhere in my TBR I think I have a trans/trans romance I’ve been meaning to get to, but I can’t remember the name right now, I’ll try to report back if I find it.
