I've always had very vivid and wild dreams and recently found the game Dream BBQ and became infatuated with it. I am looking for a fiction book that portrays the world in a similar way – abstract and nonsensical, the way your dreams don't really make sense when you wake up and you try to intellectualize them.
Books about lucid dreaming, the subconscious mind, drugs, hallucinations and such, where the reality is disturbed are as much appreciated.
I have a taste for dystopian books – 1984 by Gorge Orwell, I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman, the Metro trilogy by Dmirty Glukhovski are among my favorites. And I really enjoy a well written book, which is why lately I've been turning to classics.
