I’m almost done with this series and her next book isn’t out for a while. These are the first books I’ve read since I was a teen. I’m 28 now, and I am obsessed with them. Living in Newcastle UK where her books are based also makes it more fun and personal, however I’m not too fussed for that – I just want a good, enjoyable crime series I can get into in anticipation for her next book. I really like the DCI Logan series by JD Kirk. They’re set in Scotland. I don’t know how similar they are exactly but I get suggested the LJ Ross books all the time as ‘if you enjoyed this book try…’
DC Smith Investigation series and The Kings Lake Investigations series by Peter Grainger (they are two series that involve some of the same characters, you would want to start with the DC Smith Investigation series first in terms of chronology)
