one of my favourite movies is Ginger Snaps, I'd love to read something similar but whenever I try to find werewolf-adjacent female mc books it's always YA romance and I just don't personally enjoy that! I love a more ethereal, gothic horror vibe, with little to no romance preferable, but I can enjoy it if it's not the main focus

There’s an old story (1890) called White Fell about a female werewolf. The author is Clemence Housman.
