Ok I need help I started listening to a book but it was a sample and I can not figure out what freaking book it was !!
It starts off with parents that made a deal with something – some kind of creature/fae/demon – they didn’t realize the type of deal they were making – but they brought the baby to them and he/it/them was going to take some or all off the baby’s magic.
It was described as “The parents made a deal a Faustian deal” – and it had something to do with their baby and giving away magic. That’s the beginning of the book…. Any ideas?? I can NOT remember!!!
