I am a new mother of a 6 month old and have such strong and positive feelings towards my identity as a mother. The books I've read have either focused on negative aspects or treat the baby as a side character. I want a book with themes of love, nurturing, and warmth that will help me explore how I feel as a new Mum. Maybe a book that incorporates female friendship, passing the torch from your own mother, working as a parenting team.

Go back to the old books. “Your Baby and Child, birth age to 0-5”. Sheila Kitzinger”. I raised my five children on it and they all turned out great!
