Hi everyone🌸 sorry if this question has been asked before, but what are some recent Horror theme books that you've read and would recommend? I was looking for something that is gripping, eerie and horror. I've never had a book that truly scared me. With Crime and Thrillers, yes there are quite some that have left me disturbed for days. Would love suggestions! 🙂

The Fisherman by John Langan absolutely wrecked me for weeks. It starts slow but when it hits, it *hits*. Also try Mexican Gothic if you want something atmospheric and creepy – gave me genuine chills reading it at night
