Romance but weird recs, please

Not gross, weird. I don't like abuse, and I don't particularly care for extremely graphic smut scenes, but I can tolerate them if the story is good. I can't do regular romance/smut, but I do like it if there's a little something extra. Paranormal is good. I liked Phantasma, and almost liked Lights Out – it started off good weird, then got cringy and sickly.
So, any recommendations?
