Hey guys, I was given The Bone Collecter book from my aunt this past Christmas and I'm absolutely stoked because I loved the film when it was released back in 99, I was 10 years old at the time but fell in love with the gripping story. It's been a long time coming, and I'm incredibly excited to get started. I know the book is better from what I've read from reviews (without giving too much detail), but I want to make sure I'm reading Deaver novels in a correct format if there are any recommendations.
I've come across The Skin Collector that seems to tie into The Bone Collector's dynamic, but I'm not entirely sure, everytime I try to find some substantial book order online, I get mixed answers. I was hoping to get a perspective from his fans on here on what your recommendations are for how I should dive into his novels, if there are any.
Thanks in advance! 📖

The Lincoln Rhyme series definitely has an order – start with Bone Collector then work chronologically through the series since character development carries over. The Skin Collector is actually book 11 in that series so you’d be missing a ton of context if you jumped straight to it
