I guess what I’m looking for would be under the umbrella of self help? But it’s kind of dawned on me I will never be a wife or a mother, that I don’t think it’s in the cards for me. Which is okay, but I would like some good books on how to deal with coping with it.

**All About Love** by Bell Hooks. More about the exploration of lo that isn’t ties to romantic relationships and knowing our self-worth.
**Spinster: Making a Life of One’s Own** by Kate Bolick. Building and living YOUR LIFE outside of the expected societal norms.
I who have never known men, it’s not exactly a self help book but more of a psychological exercise. It ponders the question of who/what are we outside the boundaries and roles of society. I actually found it comforting even when the MC was all alone that she still felt compelled to go on.
Regretting Motherhood by Orna Dornath shows some of the other side of the coin.
