Hello, Reddit! Lately I have been reading scifi/fiction books all related to dinosaurs and paleontology; I could NOT put Raptor Red, Cretaceous Sea, or Sea of Time down. Ive read Jurassic Park before but these books had accurate flocked dinosaurs and incredible genetic science scifi writing them that fascinated me, the story of Cretaceous Sea/Sea of Time was an incredible adventure. I blew through these books in less than in a week and would love more! I have gotten a mound of dinosaur & genetic books from regional history museums and bookstore to learn more about them (I feel like an excited kid again) but I really love the fiction chapter books for an ”adventure”.
Currently just picked up Dragons Teeth by Micheal Crichton which takes place in the 1800’s and, while fiction, real people in history occur in the book while the fiction characters are looking for fossils across the Americas. So far its really good, but its only a little over 300 pages and will finish it probably tomorrow. I read and process books incredibly fast, especially if I’m into the story and would love many more recommendations for my personal library in the study since Dragons Teeth is my last chapter book of this genre.
