I’m looking for suggestions for light, happy reads and bonus points for humor- preferably without pregnancy, pregnancy loss storylines. I typically like heavy, make you feel emotionally wrecked books BUT based on recent life events, I need some lightness!
I always loved the Shopaholic series (RIP), Emily Giffin, Carley Fortune, etc type books.

The Thursday Murder Club. It’s about senior citizens who help solve a murder. No pregnancies that I recall! And it’s a delight to read, but still has real depth.
The Unsolicited Journals of Emma M Lion. It’s her personal journals so starts out in the middle of a storyline with lots of people but by mid book you will be hooked and read all 8. So clever!
The Miss Fortune books by Jana DeLeon. It’s a very goofy mystery series with lots of fun absurdity.
Check out The Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren or You are Here by David Nichols.
For non-romance check out Anne of Green Gables, and for something with a more involved plot, check out Crosstalk, Bellwether, To Say Nothing of the Dog or Road to Roswell by Connie Willis.
