Check out “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian” by Sherman Alexie – it’s technically YA fiction but reads like a memoir and gives you that reservation life perspective you’re looking for. Also “Crazy Brave” by Joy Harjo is an incredible memoir from a Native poet
