Im trying to get back into reading and I really like the Pillow Book.
It is comprised of hundreds of entries- often only a couple of paragraphs long, which are little snapshots in the life of the author (a japanese noblewoman born in 966) along with her observations, opinion lists, etc.
The genre name for it is zuihitsu, anyone know any similar books that have no structure and can be flipped though freely?
