I was wondering if there are any book suggestions of preferably fantasy with NON alarming age gaps. I am talking like Rook and Emmerich from DAV kind of age gaps that are completely not concerning. Nothing disturbing like barely legal teens being manipulated by immortal beings like Poppy and Hawke.

Yeah Rook and Emmerich were such a good example of how to do age gaps right – like actual adults with life experience vs the creepy power dynamic stuff
Maybe check out Patricia Briggs’ Alpha and Omega series? Anna and Charles have an age gap but they’re both clearly mature adults and it never feels weird or predatory
