I've been wanting to go to this book fair for years and I'll be going there tomorrow finally.
So i started reading during covid and i kind of lost the habit in between. Last year i read nothing because i got a job lol now i want to try to bring the habit back and i have no idea what to read.
I do have some paperbacks i recently purchased but i couldn't start them. now I'm gonna go to the fair and i think im gonna be overwhelmed looking at all the stalls not knowing what to get.
Any advice? during my long reading streak i had been reading lots of YA fantasy and some light hearted japanese books. im not sure if I'd still be into YA fantasy tho

It’s like a library trip. Overwhelmed. Just pick something, any topic you wanna know more about. Or comedy bios are awesome fun fast reads but it is what it is. Discover authors and writing periods like late 1800s Ireland, 1900s American Lit and the diversity, Early 1900s German like Herman Hesse and others. Paolo Coelho from Brazil. Many Asian writers are shining in modern lit.
I can recommend a few books, if your still interested in YA fantasy then I’d say read “A Court of Thorns and Roses”, if you want something more adult I’d recommend “Butcher and Blackbird” and finally if you want to try a thriller or murder mystery sort of book have a look a “KingTide”.
